In 1991 Christine trained as an Assertiveness Training Teacher with The Redwood Women’s Training Association, on completion of which she undertook a two year training in Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychotherapy. Her quest for voice and psychological well being took her onto the two year training in Voice Movement Therapy; a discipline which encompasses voice, music, theatre, the in-depth work of therapy and the recognition that to be creative is intrinsic to the human condition and can provide the means by which we are able to move past the confines of our individual story. After finishing her own training she apprenticed to the founder of VMT, Paul Newham, and later taught with him on the London Voice Centre’s 2 year training in Voice Movement Therapy from 1998-2000. She also supervised students, which she continues to do on behalf of the International Association for Voice Movement Therapy. Christine currently lives on Martha's Vineyard and teaches the Foundation Training in Voice Movement Therapy.
